Amanda's Garden started in 1997 with an in home childcare by Linda McClellan and her son Rob.
In 1998 they moved into the building we are now in. Amanda's started out as Amanda's Playroom but because of feedback we decided to change our name to Amanda's Garden.
Our slogan is "Come grow with us."
Many who started with us are still with us today.
We are licensed by the state of Ohio. Our teachers have Bachelors Degrees, Associate Degrees, CDA and a few are still in college.
We have found that teachers who are already parents work best with our infant and toddlers. We require all teachers to take classes yearly in child development for the area they work in.
We are working on become a Star Quality Center which exceeds the standards of licensing.
We are in the Emerging Star phase.
We have 2 Preschool classes,. That program is recognized throughout the state for Early Childhood Education. Our curriculum is High Reach.
